Many teams this year did well; others not so well but thoose that did excellent would become forever enshrined in Hanover sports history.

The football season has been described as a success by many, going to the state semi-finals.

Volleyball had an outstanding season, one round away from playing in the state tournement. They reached further than they had ever done before.

Swimming had a rough season even though they had two swimmers, Matt Elliot, who signed onto the College of Charleston, and Sarah Browning, make states.

Tanner Tinsley won states for his weight group, capping off another great season for him and the wrestling team which continues to dominate for the school.

Chris Childress threw a no hitter. Derek Casey went nine shutout innings against Glen Allen. The team went 18 and 5 this year as pitching led them to a good season.

Soccer continued to impress the district wining pivotal games cruising into the district. The girls team played well anchored by keeper Caroline Crowder.
