SHS Booster Club has given Steven’s Homecoming week a makeover. In addition to traditional dress-up day activities, some new additions include the burning of the R and a tailgate party before the game.
Originally, SHS staff planned three dress up days: Neon Day, Class Colors and Senior Toga Day, and Blue and Silver Day Friday. But via text messaging students organized two more dress up days, Nerd Day Monday and Thug Day Tuesday.
Coronation festivities took place Tuesday evening with Ariel Diamond crowned queen, and Sean Sterling, king. Elected the week prior to homecoming were junior class pages Haley Moline and Jake Bohne, sophomore class pages Molly and Michael Rezich, and freshman pages Karissa Prpich and Cale Fierro. “I thought coronation was pretty sweet this year,” said senior Kaitlyn Wright.
