Goodbye, Goodbye, Katie Larrimore Goodbye. Katie Larrimore a senior of Kent County High School will be leaving us this year for college.
But on the way of her high school years, she has became an excellent tennis player. She has played Co-Ed Varsity Tennis for the last four years of being a student. For this eason, she has won 3-17of all of the games she has played.
She says, "a lot of the games were close and some were not, but I played hard and saw myself get better every game". Larrimore favored to play Queen Anne's High and least favored Cambridge High. As far as she has been playing, she has had no injuries at all. The coaches over the years have been quite a inpiration to her.
She says "especially her freshman coach who was extremely good. Also people who had graduated and came back to help sub-coach. Larrimore felt this year that her team was not as close as it should have been and they had unneccessary drama. Also she saw that each team member did not support one another to the fullest extent. But Larrimore knew this was her last year and she made it as fun as she could for herself. She also saw that she improved.
Larrimore saw a lot of potential throughout the team especially in one young lady. Her name is Miss Alleesa Steward. Larrimore said, "she improved the most the most and showed teamwork and indivduality. She tried to even bring the team as a whole together." Larrimore will continue tennis into college but just for recreation. She will miss tennis at KCHS for the friends she has made, travelling to away games, tennis period and the feeling oflooking forward to it each year. Larrimore has been a great asset to KCHS Trojan Tennis Players and will always be missed. Katie Larrimore is and will be truly loved for a lifetime.
