Gabe Watson, a graduate from The Class of 2002, played his last regular season football game for The University of Michigan on Nov. 19. Despite losing the game to Ohio State, Watson had a fumble recovery for the Wolverines. Sports Illustrated predicts that the graduating defensive lineman will be a first-round draft pick for professional football.

Jessica Lamarre, a graduate from The Class of 2005, danced at the Mariah Carey halftime show on Thanksgiving at the Detroit Lions football game. She also danced at the Battle of the Bands at the Pontiac Silverdome on Nov. 13.

Tanisha Strong, a graduate from The Class of 2004, is counting more than her blessings in the Honors Accounting program at Ohio State University.

Ebony Reed, a graduate from The Class of 1996 and a former Jay staffer, is now the assistant metro editor of The Plain Dealer - Cleveland’s daily newspaper.

Brandon Summers, a graduate of The Class of 2005, is majoring in business at The University of Toledo and played quarterback this year for the Toldeo Rockets.
