Just in time for holiday shopping, Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills is now Great Lakes Crossing Outlet Mall. It’s the largest outlet center in Michigan and it’s only a 30-minute drive from Southfield.

Great Lakes features over 185 stores and restaurants, a food court seating 1,000 hungry shoppers, and a 25-screen AMC Star movie theater for after-shopping entertainment.

The new outlet mall recently had a celebration weekend Oct. 9 -11, announcing 10 new stores. Crocs, Lord & Taylor, Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors are all new additions to the outlet.

"I don’t really go to Great Lakes, but now that’s it an outlet mall, I might actually start going," says senior Kiara Gaddis. "I love low prices!"

Lower prices and new stores make Great Lakes a great place to do holiday shopping this year.

Great Lakes Crossing is at 4362 Baldwin Road. For shoppers headed north on I-75, take the Baldwin Road South exit , make a U turn, and look for the mall.
