On March 8, 2012, Chaparral High School hosted the annual talent show. In this article I will be discussing this year’s talents.
This year’s show was not held during school, the show was presented after school, and it was hosted in the Chaparral High School gym at 6 p.m. The ambiance in the audience was every energetic, they were all looking forward to a great show. The only thing was - that not all of the performances were at their best.
One of the most outstanding performances of the night was by elementary students, they performed traditional Mexican dances. What was awesome about their show was that they were all very well coordinated; also in one of the dances that they performed the girls were able to balance a candle on their head.
They were many dancers, and out of all of them, only a few were actually pretty good. The rest could have actually used a little more practice and or other details that would have made their performances much better.
The rest of the performances were all mostly singers and musicians, some of the major noted mistakes were singers not remembering the lyrics and or musicians forgetting their music. When it was our time to perform, our group had a time limit which did not allow us to complete our performance.
Over all, the 2012 Talent Show was a great hit. People enjoyed themselves and had a good time. And hopefully next years show turns out a whole lot better.
